Poulter joins BHC Urban Design Studio

New talent joins BHC from Buchart-Horn, Inc. in York, Pennsylvania.

August 22, 2007 - Dublin, Ohio

Bird Houk Collaborative is pleased to announce the addition of Kate Poulter to the firm's Urban Design Studio.

Kate brings broad knowledge and more than five years experience to her new position. She will collaborate on design and prepare schematic design through contract documents on a range of urban design projects.

Prior to joining BHC, Kate worked at Buchart-Horn, Inc., a multidisciplinary firm in York, Pennsylvania. There, she partnered with civil engineers and architects to prepare land development plans and construction documents for site improvements on an array of projects, including site design and planning for academic campuses, urban plazas, and sustainable environments. Prior to Buchart-Horn, Kate worked at Umemoto Cassanddro Design Corporation in Kailua, Hawaii, focusing on luxury residential and resort design and planning.

Kate graduated from The Ohio State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. She is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Society of American Military Engineers.

Bird Houk Collaborative is a multidisciplinary firm providing architecture, planning, urban design, landscape architecture, and economic analysis services. Founded in 1993, the firm is located in Dublin, Ohio.
