Gahanna, Ohio - In further strengthening its multidisciplinary capacity, design and planning firm Bird Houk Collaborative is offering full interior design services in association with strategic partner Nvironment.

Bird Houk Collaborative Managing Partner Gary Sebach says, “We’re really excited about being able to offer our clients more interior design depth. Our goal is always to provide the most comprehensive solutions to our clients – and this takes us one step closer to that goal.”

Located in BHC’s Gahanna office, Nvironment provides interior design, space planning, project management, and relocation management services.

Nvironment Founder and President Liz Hauswald says that Nvironment's design philosophy blends well with that of Bird Houk Collaborative.

“I have found that Bird Houk Collaborative shares my pragmatic approach to projects, delivering functional and operationally efficient spaces to their clients. Their understanding and awareness of these goals are extremely important to me, having been on the customer side for the majority of my career.”

Hauswald’s career spans more than 15 years. Much of her experience was as a project manager for Chase (and Bank One). During her tenure, she worked with facility managers, corporate and retail departments, and a variety of stakeholders to provide interior solutions as well as project and relocation management services. She continued in a similar capacity as the National Account Manager for Nationwide Insurance while working for NELSON. Most recently, she was a multifunctional team leader at Columbus-based WD Partners, where she was responsible for prototype designs and rollout. Clients included New Balance, Bob Evans Farms and Quizno’s.

In total, Hauswald has supervised more than five million square feet of banking and corporate office space, and has managed more than 10,000 square feet of real estate portfolios.

She feels that her pragmatic design approach, combining creativity and aesthetics with a ground-level understanding of daily operations, is relevant in a variety of markets.

“This is a partnership filled with opportunity. While my core client base is corporate, financial services, retail and restaurants, my experience can be tailored to other BHC markets, including education, hotel, and multi-family residential.”

Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and a Minor in Art and Business from Otterbein College.
