Johnson and Tashjian receive LEED accreditation

Bird Houk Collaborative is pleased to announce the accreditation of two more design team members.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

June 30, 2009

Gahanna, Ohio – Bird Houk Collaborative is pleased to announce the accreditation of two more of its design team members.

Andrew Johnson and Tracey Tashjian are the most recent BHC team members to receive their Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council. Johnson has been with the firm for eight years. Tashjian joined the firm in 2007. Both are members of the firm's architectural design studio and both are engaged in projects with LEED intentions.

The firm has designed nearly 450,000 square feet of LEED intended space, including the recently completed Cardinal Health west campus expansion in Dublin. With the intent of achieving a minimum of a Certified rating under LEED standards for new construction, this facility was constructed using low impact design practices and materials.
