Case Study

Cardinal Health Master Plan

Dublin, Ohio

Cardinal Health was growing at a rate in which they would soon exceed its facility’s capacity. They asked Bird Houk Collaborative to assess their existing site and building space and present alternatives for growth on the property adjacent to their current facility. After evaluating the existing site, facilities and infrastructure, BHC rezoned the adjacent property and created a 15-year Master Plan for the 30 acre site. Final Development Plans for a two-phased building project were also created to accommodate projected growth. At build out, the site will contain:
• 450,000 square feet of total new building space
• 1,800 parking spaces
• Two points of ingress and egress
• Guard station
• ¾ mile leisure trail which incorporates a pedestrian bridge over the stream separating the two sites
• Dining terrace adjacent to the rear pond complete with fountains and a lawn area for larger gatherings
