Case Study

Evansville Promenade

Evansville, Indiana

Bird Houk Collaborative created the master plan, zoning, and corresponding architectural design standards for a 228 acre mixed-use development in Eastern Evansville. Developed by Hirsch-Martin Development, LLC, the project was announced to the Evansville community on Friday, May 11, 2007.

The site, which is located near I-167, was zoned as agricultural and has been rezoned for C-4 commercial development as part of the project. When complete, the Evansville Promenade will include a retail and entertainment-focused mixed-use town center, as well as residential, traditional retail, and office uses.

BHC provided site capacity studies, master planning services, concept exploration, zoning, architectural design standards, and marketing support materials for this development.
